Recently, Newsweek came out with its first annual Auto Awards – a list that highlights the industry's best in 25 individual vehicle and brand categories. Vehicles were rated in two ways: by test driving them and comparing their standard and available features and specifications to those of other vehicles in the same category.

After undergoing those tests, Jeep was awarded the title of Best SUV Lineup.

Over the past year, the Jeep lineup has graced us with new and updated models. The highly-anticipated 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer and 2022 Wagoneer have proven to be an exciting addition to the SUV lineup and have even surpassed its competitors in the Luxury SUV category.

“The Wagoneer brand is back, bringing with it a new way to experience full-size three-row SUVs,” said Eileen Falkenberg-Hull, senior editor of autos for Newsweek. “The Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer punch above their tag weight, delivering the types of features, capability and design that families are seeking. On top of that, both models are incredibly easy to drive.”

Newsweek also praised the new third-row Jeep Grand Cherokee L for its spacious third-row, infotainment system and latest technology. In fact, the Grand Cherokee L drives off with the award as Best Family SUV.

“The Jeep Grand Cherokee L does more than expand the Grand Cherokee family,” says Falkenberg-Hull. “It elevates the three-row SUV experience, making it possible to transport family members in comfort and style thanks to an outstanding list of standard and available features paired with classic Jeep 4x4 capability.”

Jeep's SUV lineup now consists of the Renegade, Compass, Cherokee, Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, Grand Cherokee L, Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer. The brand is continuing to increase its lineup by adding plug-in hybrid versions of its models and installing off-the-grid chargers at trailheads nationwide.
