Jeep certainly is bringing of plenty of changes for their new models. In addition to the debut of the new Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer, the popular automaker has also come out with the three-row Grand Cherokee L, a hybrid version of the Wrangler, and most recently, a hybrid version of Jeep's best-selling SUV: The 2022 Grand Cherokee 4xe.
The Grand Cherokee 4xe was first teased to us back in 2021. Jeep's introduction of the Grand Cherokee 4xe signals the continued growth of the brand's electrified mission of Zero Emission Freedom, as they explore future mobility. The 4xe Plug-In Electric Vehicle (PHEV) technology enhances the fun, freedom, and adventure that the Jeep brand is known for while providing performance, fuel economy, and environmental friendliness.

According to Mopar Insider, the Grand Cherokee 4xe offers 25 miles of all-electric and 56 MPGe from a PHEV system that delivers 375 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft of torque, 0 to 60 mph in 6-seconds flat, and a max tow rating of 6,000 lbs. The SUV comes standard with a two-speed transfer case, 2.72:1 low-range gear ratio, and 47.4:1 crawl ratio. When equipped with the Quadra-Lift air suspension, the Grand Cherokee 4xe can deliver up to 10.9 inches of ground clearance with 24 inches of water fording capability.
On the inside of the Grand Cherokee 4xe, there is a 10-inch touchscreen atop the center stack, which is also optional for front-seat passengers to play with, and rear-seat passengers can get 10-inch touchscreen with Amazon Fire TV built in.
The Amazon Fire TV is essential for those who are driving with kids – you can download YouTube. Netflix, Disney +, or whatever apps you may want, and stream movie right to the screens through a built-in 4G WiFi hotspot.
